But what if I just want hosting? (I already have a site I'll transfer/build myself)
Getting your site online starts with setting up your host. It's really an easy process that takes
just a couple of minutes. Asides from getting us the appropriate information for your site, this is the only part
of the process you'll need to do yourself. The reason for your personally setting up a hosting account is that in the past when we've done this
for our clients there's been some confusion as to who owns the site and domain name, Add-a-Site or you.
Filling out this information yourself establishes the fact that you own your site and your domain, not Add-a-Site. This is important,
since if in the future you decide to transfer your site elsewhere, you may easily do so. Plus, you pay no mark-up on hosting fees: you
pay exactly what our company would pay to host your site; our charges are only based on consulting and design work.
Add-a-Site Web Builders uses Lunarpages as its host. Lunarpages is one of the best values in hosting on the web, having been named
#1 Overall Web Hosting Award by www.hostAZ.com in 2005, the Most Reliable Web Host Award by www.hosting-review.com, and the WebSite Maven's
Editor's Choice. And its basic plan costs only $7.95 a month. Feel free to take a look at
Lunarpages' awards if you would like.
You of course may elect another hosting option, but be advised that our company does bill for any extra time it takes to set up
your site with another 3rd party hosting service.
Note that Add-a-Site Builders can and usually does start work on your website independently of when you set up your host/domain name. We
simply can't make your site "live" until you have followed all our directions below.

Step 1: Click the banner below:
This will take you to the order page for Lunarpages' Shuttle Plan (Although some users get a brief "header" error at the top of the following page, everything still works!). Unless you have a good reason to need more space/bandwidth
from the very beginning, we recommend this plan as it is more than adequate for most smaller businesses. And, it also only costs $7.95 per month.
Step 2: Select Payment Period, Domain Type, and Insert Discount Code.
For "Select Payment Period", we highly recommend the 12 month
option. You'll save $50 including setup fees, plus you'll want to give your site at least a year of hosting to ensure there's time for your pages
to establish themselves with search engines and ultimately your customers.
For the "Select Domain Type" option, select "Purchase New Domain" if you
want to register a new domain name. Select "Use Existing Domain" if you would like to use an existing name. In either case, enter that domain name in the
text box. ENSURE YOUR DOMAIN NAME IS SPELLED EXACTLY AS YOU WANT IT! You may also check the "Make Your Information Private" box, but
be forewarned Lunarpages will charge you additional fees.
Finally, next to the "Insert Offer Code" field enter the code "FreeD" (Don't use the quotations!). This code is case-sensitive.
We offer this code as a courtesy to our
clientele. It in essence gives you a free domain name. It's a good deal that you should
definitely take advantage of when registering/transferring a domain name.
Step 3: Click "Continue" and fill out the remaining information, including your credit card and contact info.
Be sure to give
Lunarpages an accurate phone number: they will contact you (usually within an hour or two) after you have registered to confirm your order.
Step 4: Forward the account info e-mail you receive from Lunarpages to sales@addasitebuilders.com.
After you have registered with Lunarpages,
you will receive an e-mail that normally has the subject line: "Welcome to Lunarpages - CRITICAL ACCOUNT Info". You'll need to forward this e-mail to
us because we'll need the FTP access information to begin transferring/building your site for you.
